Calistus Ekenna | Senior Consultant

Calistus Ekenna is the senior consultant at Blue North Immigration Consultants. Of Nigerian origin, he has been living and working in Canada for over ten years and his journey perfectly illustrates his successful integration—educationally, socially, culturally, economically and politically—into Canadian society.

Residing in Manitoba, he organizes, with his wife and children, recreational activities, including camps, and promotes networking for successful integration.

He currently sits on the Brandon School Division Board after being elected in Fall 2020. A Licensed Social Worker with the Manitoba Social Workers Association, he is also an addictions coordinator, child protection intervener and abuse prevention intervener within Child Protection Services. He spent four years as an intelligence officer at the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons and Other Related Matters (NAPTIP) in Nigeria, where he specialized in migration-related risk management.

Holder of a Master's degree in Social Work obtained in 2015 from the University of Manitoba, and possessing skills and knowledge in assessment and cognition, Calistus Ekenna has also familiarized himself with the Citizenship and Immigration Canada Settlement Program, which is essential for aligning assessments with the government's objective of integrating newcomers to Canada.

The experiences and positions he has acquired give him unique opportunities, experience, learning, skills and understanding needed to advance a professional immigration service based on training received for this purpose and the resources necessary for newcomers to Canada.

Mabotundi Kordon | Human Resources Manager

Mabotundi Kordon is a dedicated and detail-oriented HR and administration professional. She is committed to promoting an efficient and supportive work environment. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management from Central University of Accra, Ghana, where this program equips students with practical skills to integrate into the sector in middle management positions.

Beyond her university education, Mabotundi has pursued several professional careers. She has obtained certifications to deepen her expertise. In 2024, she completed the following two trainings: Basic Management and Management Workshop for Trainer Development and advanced management trainer development, Workshop offered by the Nigerian Management Development Council (NCMD).

She also holds certifications in Human Resources Management (HRM) and Project Management. Professional Certifications (PMP), Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and IT Essentials, Raw Materials Research and Development Council, all obtained in 2018. Additionally,

Mabotundi completed competency-based first aid training with the Nigerian Red Cross Society in 2018.

Sani T. Taj, Esq. | Operations Director

Barrister Sani T. Taj is a graduate of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria and holds a Master's degree in Law from the University of Abuja. He has extensive experience in Nigerian law. He is also a licensed professional negotiator and mediator.

He is the Operations Director of the organization which operates through Blue North Immigration Consultancy and Blue North Initiative. He oversees business operations and corporate governance. He has acquired experience in the public and private sectors of the Nigerian economy since obtaining his diploma twenty years ago.

He is committed to due diligence procedures, corporate governance and compliance, while ensuring regulatory oversight of the sector. This has enabled the establishment of a security system in the face of the complexities of visa applications, strict requirements and the imperatives of compliance with foreign legislation.

He oversees the Initiative program which aims to ensure education, prevention and reintegration of victims of human trafficking.

He ensures that the core values and traditions of the Blue North brand are preserved in the customer business relationship, from a growth perspective.

He is frank, direct and attentive to the needs of the organization's customers. He is a family man.
