"I arrived in Canada in 2020 with my family from Lesotho. We decided to leave our country to give our children a better future. I still remember how difficult it was to leave our family, friends, and our life behind for an unfamiliar country.

I arrived in Ottawa with an engineering degree and five years of professional experience. I started by looking for a job in my field, but I quickly realized that the job market was very competitive. I decided to take French courses and specialize in a high-demand field: information technology.

After six months of searching, I landed a job at a technology company in Ottawa. I worked hard to prove my worth and was promoted to project manager in less than two years.

Today, I am proud to say that I am a Canadian citizen and that I have been able to provide a better life for my family. We have bought a house, our children are in school, and we are well integrated into the community." community.

I want to encourage all immigrants not to give up. Canada is a land of opportunity, and with determination and hard work, you can succeed. It's important to specialize in an in-demand field, take language courses, and build a network within the community.

I am grateful for this opportunity and thank BNIC Immigration for everything.
